NewCom Places in Top Three for Independent Teleport Operator of the Year

We were recently named one of three finalists for Independent Teleport Operator of the Year, an annual award bestowed by the World Teleport Association (WTA).

The award is given to an outstanding operator of a commercial communications hub that uses a combination of satellite, fiber, and terrestrial wireless to provide value-added services to customers in broadcasting, enterprise, carrier or government markets.
NewCom was the only U.S.-based company selected as a finalist for the prestigious award. We were also recently recognized as the second fastest growing teleport operator in the world by the WTA.

U.S. Military Taps NewCom for Short-Term Contract

The U.S. Military has selected NewCom's Miami teleport facilities as a temporary home for its iDirect services.

The military, which has signed a contract to use our facilities from April 1 to September 1, needed to connect to the NAP of Americas and was looking for a top-quality teleport provider that could quickly facilitate its short-term needs.
