The WTA Teleport Executive of the Year award is presented to an individual for demonstrated entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation in the development or operation of a teleport-based business.   WTA Executive Director Robert Bell pointed to Mr. Dickinson’s leadership in bringing 21st Century communications to vital regions throughout Africa, the Middle East and Latin America, and his ardent commitment to improving education, economic development and stability in these regions through communications, as key factors in the WTA’s decision.

Mr. Dickinson, who will be presented with the award at WTA’s Teleport Awards for Excellence luncheon on March 16 during SATELLITE 2010, said he is honored to be chosen for the prestigious recognition.
