Jaime Dickinson, President & COO

As president and COO of NewCom International, Jaime Dickinson oversees all internal operations for the company. He also drives the company's business development and strategic partnership efforts - working to expand NewCom's presence around the globe.

Under his direction, NewCom has emerged as a leading force in the global communications marketplace and was recently recognized as the second fastest growing teleport operator in the world. Jaime, a seasoned entrepreneur and global communications professional, brings to NewCom an extensive background in the communications sector. His experience stems back to the early '90s, when he helped launch and build Vanamei, a satellite equipment distribution company that marketed satellite equipment throughout Latin America.

The success of Vanamei resulted in the launch of sister companies, Publicom and Networldtron, which offered installation and Internet services to provide Vanamei customers a one-stop communications solution. In the late 1990s, Jaime - together with his brother and business partner, Sheridan Dickinson - sold the companies to American Tower and joined the telecom giant's newly formed Verestar division.

In early 2004, Jaime and Sheridan returned to their entrepreneurial roots by launching NewCom, a global communications firm specializing in integrated satellite and telecommunications solutions.
